Palace Pizza

Palace Pizza Downtown catered our wedding and was wonderful every step of the way. We worked with them to create our dream menu, which included cocktail hour, dinner, and cannolis for dessert. They gave us a very reasonable price and didn’t charge us a delivery fee because the venue was right down the street from them. They included a buffet style setup and employees to serve our guests. I worked specifically with Gina and Patricia, who made off-menu items for us at our request. They were amazing and I’d recommend their catering services to anyone!

Weather, you're inside or out or happen to be in the alleyway cafe area, this restaurant has wonderful amazing food. The staff is conscientious.They're thorough with easy and incorrect follow-up and allows for an easy dining experience while still being elegant but casual. Tonight I tried a bruschetta which was wonderfully crafted with fresh tomatoes. The appropriate amount of spices and the bread was just toasted enough to be soft but still crunchy at the right time and the basalmic glaze just topped it off correctly. The main course was the spaghetti , a la carpenterina , which was ser.\nVed plateful piping , hot and amazingly blended with just the right amount of bacon cheeses , onions scallions imposed to make this a lovely , easy to eat fun to eat dinner. Watching the customers, there's a tremendous amount of people that come in grab a slice or 2 of Pizza. Take it home with them or come in and sit and enjoy a full dinner in the restaurant. Usually, speaking, if an Italian restaurant has red and white tablecloths and the flags on the wall, it's gonna be a good eat.In this case , it's better than just a good eat. Come try itGive it a spin and don't be bashful about grabbing a dessert cannoli's cheesecakes and a whole bunch of other goodies that sweet toots can all appreciate. Open everyday for lunch and dinner.

Palace Pizza in downtown Lakeland had me engaging in certified big-back activities and I stand by it. I ordered baked ziti and a pizza… and it was so good I ordered the same exact order again the very next day. Back to back. Within 48 hours. That’s not a coincidence! That’s quality. Let’s talk about the baked ziti first, because it deserves the spotlight. Perfectly baked, loaded with sauce and cheese, and the cheese pull was absolutely insane. Long, stretchy, melty, and borderline cinematic. The kind of cheese pull that makes you stop mid-bite just to admire it. The pizza held its own too: fresh, hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Great crust, solid toppings, and exactly what you want alongside a pasta dish. Carbs on carbs. If a restaurant has you immediately planning your next order while you’re still eating, that’s how you know they nailed it. Palace Pizza is officially a downtown Lakeland staple for me and yes, I’ll probably be back again soon.

Very unassuming from the outside, I love the vibe on the inside. We had four different slices of pizza and the garlic rolls all incredible. Management and staff are also very friendly and they offer a huge variety of pizzas by the slice also an Italian kitchen and liquor bar.

Fun Lil Pizza Shop downtown Lakeland offers plenty of outdoor seating, though it can be noisy depending on where you sit. Ordering might be a bit confusing since you have to order your pizza from the guy behind the glass and then go to the checkout for drinks and extras. The pizza was very good—hot and satisfying. We weren’t fans of the cannolis, but that’s just our taste. There's plenty of parking, including a nearby garage. If you’re craving great pizza, this is the place to go. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

UPDATE: Palace Pizza made it right!! They replaced the pizza. It was nice to have a wrong made into a wonderful experience. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. I ordered my pizza through grubhub.When I received my pizza, my eggplant looked like bits of charcoal.When I called the store I was told to let grubhub know even though palace pizza is the one who cooked it..

WOW! This place was awesome! We walked in and we knew that we were about to really enjoy an amazing Italian dinner. What a great pizzeria! The food was awesome and the staff was great. The manager came up and introduced herself to us and brought us complimentary cannolis which were great. We ordered calzones and they were huge. We took 1/2 of them home for a second meal. The atmosphere was great and it was a great overall experience. This place is a gem! They've been in business for 29 years and we can see why. We did leave room for dessert and that was a great choice because the tiramisu & strawberry creme cake were delicious! 10/10 would recommend! Can't wait to be back in Lakeland to stop by again.
